Kidworks at Brickworks

Wednesdays at 10am

Kidworks at Brickworks is a delightful midweek adventure for little ones! Every Wednesday at 10am, children and their families can come together in our vibrant community room, The Hollow, transforming into a hub of creativity, laughter, and excitement. To inspire little minds, kids can dive into a world of fun with hands-on activities like arts and crafts, imaginative storytelling, and special themed workshops that spark curiosity and wonder. There’s always something exciting waiting for our Kidworks crew! It’s the perfect chance to make new friends, explore new ideas, and create lasting memories. We can’t wait to welcome your little ones to the fun.

Learn to create an elegant flower arrangement.

Walking Group

Join us every Wednesday at 8:30am and Thursday 7:30am for a refreshing walk, light exercise and a little dance!

Sensory Wonders

A series of free sensory-friendly workshops designed for kids aged 4-14 years with autism to create, and connect in a welcoming space.

"Every time I visit, I am always very appreciative of the effort made to make the place a memorable place to visit and shop. Starting with parking the car - the carpark is immaculately clean. And the ambient bush sounds can be heard from the moment you get out of your car. Inside, the common area is lit with natural light, and the open space invites visitors to stay and relax - before and after shopping. The rest rooms are beautiful, clean and again - relaxing. The vendors all have quality products and services, and every time the experience has been personable, efficient and they are experts in their field. I really enjoy shopping at Burwood Brickworks. PS - they also have an amazing cinema with reclining seats.More"

"Love this local centre, best treats for a box hill south local - always easy to find parking and several options for the same, lovely cafes, restaurants, catch up spaces, garden areas etc. Something for everyone! I wish I liked the hairstylist at this centre and the nails salon didn’t relocate so I had to go nowhere else. The pricing for most things is pretty reasonable as well such as the cheapest coffee which is my everyday cafe, Asian grocery for veggies, organic store for wholesome foods, reading cinemas with the best seats and popcorn. The open terrace is so lovely and it’s so much fun to pluck veggies there on lucky days! ♥️More"

"A nice designed centre with sustainability and pet-friendly policy. Recently changed to kids-oriented. However, we saw a few people smoking here recently. Today one was smoking inside the downstairs parking space, just in front of lift entrance(isn’t it an indoor area?). The smoker drives a white HYUNDAI with rego 1YC4TE. When I looked around i saw no sign of non-smoking and I cannot find anyone I can report to forbid him smoking here. I think this is opposite to what the centre advocates. Personally, I care a lot about the air and i believe I have the freedom to not stay around with smoking people. And as far as I know no smoking inside a public area or around the entrance of it is a legal requirement as well. I’m a mother with kids so I’m unlikely to argue and get into conflicts with these people. If the centre has no policy or authority to regulate this behaviour, we can only go somewhere else. If you care about the smoking policy of a centre, I suggest you don’t come here too unless it change otherwise.More"
